Obituary for Violet T Parker (Mich)
Violet T. Parker passed away peacefully on Sunday September 12, 2021.
Violet was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to George and Blanche Mich. She attended schools in the Whitehorse area where she was a member of a garden club for girls before the family moved to Fieldsboro.
There she met her husband Bowman, her next-door neighbor. He joined the Navy and she spent the next ten years writing to him every day. They married shortly after his return and lived on Prince Street in Bordentown while building a home in Chesterfield. She found the time for two daughters. She worked at the Chesterfield School for many years. She made many beautiful quilts and gave them to family and friends over the years.
She is predeceased by her husband, Bowman Parker, her daughter, Joanne Parker Bognanno, her son-in-law Gene Bognanno, her sisters, Virgie Forman and Blanche DiPietro, her brothers, Raymond, Howard, George, Russell, and Francis Mich, and her sister-in-law, Shirley Mich.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ed Faircloth, her grandchildren, Brian Faircloth, John Faircloth and his wife Elizabeth Faircloth, Joe Bognanno and his wife Mary Bognanno, and great grandsons Tyler Faircloth, Sean Faircloth, Conner Faircloth, and Gino Bognanno, her sisters-in-law, Helen Mich, Gerda Mich, Rita Mich, her brother-in-law, David DiPietro. She is also survived by a very loving family of nieces and nephews.

A Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday September 21, 2021 11:00 AM at Mary Mother of the Church parish, 45 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. Calling hours will be held Tuesday morning 9:30 AM ~ 10:30 AM at the Bordentown Home for Funerals, 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Burial will follow at Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown NJ.
