Obituary for Ronald "Jay" Polasky Jr.

Ronald Joseph Polasky, Jr. “Jay”, arguably the best waiter on the East Coast, gained his Angel Wings on October 3, 2022.

Ronnie, or Jay, as he was known to family and close friends, was a waiter for almost 40 years, serving customers for many years at local restaurants, including many years at Town & Country Diner. Ronnie loved his job and always looked forward to serving his special regulars. He loved music, attending many concerts, and always taking flowers to hand to his favorite of all time, Stevie Nicks. He loved spending time at the Jersey Shore at Wildwood. Jay loved his family, his friends and his neighbors. He was always up for a laugh and had many great stories to make anyone laugh. It would always make him very happy just seeing others laugh and be happy.

Ronnie was predeceased by his father, Ronald Joseph Polasky, Sr., his maternal grandparents, Gerald and Claudine Lovejoy, and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Louise Polasky. He is survived by his mother, Carol Lovejoy Junz (Richard), his aunt, Donna Matlack and cousin Terri Jewell (Ken).
Jay is also survived by his 5 siblings, Deana Comstock, Brian Morris, Daniel Morris, Heather Goldenbaum and Julianna Junz. His Godson, David Tyluktki, Jr and his special niece and nephews, Jayna DeShay (Billy), Christopher Comstock and Brandon Comstock. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and family members who will all miss him dearly.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bordentown Home for Funerals, 40 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. There will be a Celebration of Jay’s Life on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 6-9 pm at the Funeral Home.
Cremation and burial will be private.
