Obituary for Paulina Coyle

Paulina Coyle, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Born and raised in New York City, Paulina met the love of her life LCDR Charles A. Coyle, in a dance hall, while he was in the Navy. In 1957 Paulina began her life as a Navy wife and stay at home mom; relocating many times before settling down in Jacobstown, NJ when Charles retired from the Navy.

After raising seven children, Paulina went back to work at the Bank of New Jersey in the loan department and then worked as a Proctor for the Mercer County Community College; retiring after many years of dedicated service. Paulina was a devout Catholic and member of the Church of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, singing in the choir. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, but her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and she will be missed by many.

The daughter of the late Vincenzo and Antonina Muscarnera, she is predeceased by her beloved husband Charles A Coyle, Sr. Paulina is survived by her children, Charles A. Coyle, Jr. and his husband Robert Galambos; Kathleen (Coyle Potts), her husband David Potts and their two sons Andrew and Nathan; Paul, his wife Carolyn (Klotz) Coyle their daughter Rebecca and son Adam, his wife Katharina (Tinnirello) and granddaughter Emma; Patrick, his wife Jennifer (Worthington) Coyle and their son Nicholas; Michael, and his wife Joanne (Horner) Coyle; Theresa, and her husband Rob Ludwig; Anthony Thomas Coyle; and her brother Charles, his wife Marlene Muscarnera as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday September 9, 2023 11:00 am at the Assumption Chapel, 76 Evergreen Rd, New Egypt, NJ. Calling hours will begin Saturday morning from 9:00 ~ 10:50 am at the Assumption Chapel. Interment will follow at the Assumption Chapel Cemetery, directly next to the church.
