Obituary for Nancy Cubberley

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Nancy Lou Cubberley, 72, on Saturday August 7, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and, friend to all she met.
Nancy was born on August 18, 1948 in Atlantic City, NJ. She attended Mill Road School in Northfield, NJ, and Mainland Regional High School in Linwood, NJ. During the summer breaks from high school, she worked at her Uncles saltwater taffy store on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, which is where she met her future husband. Once she was married, she moved to Bordentown, NJ to start her new life with her husband. She worked for over 30 years in the cafeteria at the Peter Muschal School. In her spare time, she was an avid needle point enthusiast, always working on different projects, most of which she would give away as gifts. She was an animal lover, especially dogs, and loved spoiling her grandson, David.
Daughter of the late Gladys and Albert S. Hutchinson, she is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Leslie Alan Cubberley, her daughter, Jennifer M. Robertiello, her grandson, David C. Robertiello jr., her daughter’s fiancé, William Cook, her sisters, Joy Ann Leopardi and Carol Presti, her nephews, Brett Leopardi, Scott Leopardi, and Matthew Presti, and, great niece, Gabrielle Leopardi, great nephews, Sam Leopardi and Everett Presti. She is also survived by her canine “fur babies”, Gemma and Bounce.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's memory to either The NJ United christian Academy 73 Holmes Mill Rd, Cream Ridge, NJ 08514,: or The American Heart Association, or to a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held on Saturday August 14, 2021 5:00 pm at Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505. Calling hours will be held Saturday afternoon from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
