Obituary for Mary Ann Nucera

Mary Ann Nucera, passed away on Tuesday June 29, 2021 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City with her loving children by her side. Born in Minersville PA, she lived in Bordentown for most of her life.

She was employed as a Data Processor for Princeton Medical Center, retiring after over 25 years of dedicated service. Mary Ann was a proud parishioner of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Trenton. She enjoyed traveling, cruises and bowling, but the greatest joy in Mary Ann’s life was her family. She would attend all of her children and grandchildren’s events. She was a devoted mother, loving grand mother, great-grand mother, sister and a caring friend. She will be missed by all.


The daughter of the lateMichael and Mary Onufrey, she is predeceased by her brother and sister, John Onufrey and Betty Ann Bensch, she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, , Frank and Leslie Nucera, Mickey and Christine Nucera, her daughter, Debbie Pina, her grandchildren, Frank and (Rebecca) Nucera, Christine Nucera, Ryan Pina, Robert Pina, Sean and (Shelby) Nucera, Matthew Nucera, Brandon Nucera, her great-grandchildren, Marisa Scaramuzzo, Michael Scaramuzzo, Lily Nucera, Bella Nucera, Jace Ciabattoni, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene Bensch, Patricia Onufrey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.


At the family’s request memorial donations may be made in Mary Ann’s name to either, St Mary Byzantine Catholic Church 335 Adeline St. Trenton NJ 08611 or
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center 1275 New York Ave NY 10065.

A Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday July 8, 2021 11:00 am at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church 202 Grand St, Trenton, NJ 08611. Calling hours will be held that morning from 9:00 am ~ 10:00 am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Burial St. Mary of the Assumption #2 Ridge Ave. Hamilton.
