Obituary for Marie Westenburger
Marie Westenburger 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 24, 2022, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Detroit Michigan, she was a longtime resident of the Yardville Heights- Bordentown Community.
Marie was employed as an Executive Secretary for the Vice President of Finance for the Dow Jones Office; she retired in 1990 after many years of dedicated service. Marie was a parishioner of Mary Mother of the Church Parish, a past member of the Bordentown Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the American Legion Post 26 Ladies Auxiliary, the National Secretary Association, the TNT Club and the Bordentown Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed traveling, movies, playing cards and the beach.
The daughter of the late Julius J and Mary Yaeger, she is predeceased by her husband, Maurice Westenburger, her siblings, Dr. John Yaeger and Matilda Langan.
She is survived by her children, Lynne M. and (Jack) Rak, John J. (Clarissa) Westenburger, her grandchildren, Dana Spoletini (Shawn), Ricky Jr. (Laura) Spoletini, great grandchild, Ricky Spoletini III, her brother, Julius J. Yaeger III and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 1, 2022, 10:00 am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Calling hours will be held Wednesday November 30, 2022, from 6:00 ~ 8:00 pm and Thursday morning 9:00 am until time of Service. Burial will follow at Brig Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown NJ.
