Obituary for Lawrence R "Larry" Gress Jr.
Lawrence R. “Larry” Gress Jr., passed away on Tuesday June 23, 2020 at the Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly with his loving wife by his side, Born in New Brunswick, Larry resided in the Hightstown area before moving to New Egypt twenty years ago.
Larry was a master mechanic working for Mounts Garage before opening his own garage called Under the Sun. Larry enjoyed fishing, but his real love was saving animals and gardening. Larry and his wife Linda started the All About Them, Giant Breed Rescue.
The son of the late Lawrence R Sr. and Jane Gress, he is survived by his loving wife, Linda Gress, his children, Lawrence R “Duke” Gress III, Tina Gress, Matthew L. Gress, several grand children, his siblings, Barbara Gress, Gary Lewis, Marie Bennett, JudyWilbert, Margaret Zielinski, John Zielinski, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations made in Larry’s name to All About Them, Giant Breed Rescue 204 Archertown Rd New Egypt NJ 08533.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday , June 26, 2020 from 6:00 ~ 8:30 pm at the Bordentown Home for Funerals, 40 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown City, New Jersey under the supervision of Robert Pecht. A service will be follow at 8:30pm Friday evening.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, 25 people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home. Masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced. We have a speaker outside of the Funeral Home for people to hear the service.
