Obituary for Laraine M. Tozzi
Laraine M. Tozzi, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 17, 2022. Born in Trenton she was a longtime resident of the Ewing Community. She was a graduate of Ewing High School and Trenton State College.
She was a teacher at St. Hedwigs School and then Fisher Middle School in Ewing where she taught 7th grade Reading. Laraine’s passion was teaching and enjoyed dressing up as the characters of the many books her students would read during class. She felt very honored when she received “Teacher of the Year”. After her retirement, Laraine spent much of time gardening, shopping and watching tv and movies. But her greatest joy in life was being with her daughter and son-in-law.
Daughter of the late William and Stella Tozzi she is survived by her loving Daughter and Son-in-law, Stacey and Scott Noble.
In Lieu of Flowers donation may be made in Laraine’s memory to EASEL Animal Rescue League 4 Jake Garzio Drive, Ewing, NJ 08628.
A Celebration of Laraine’s Life will be held Friday January 6, 2022, 7:30 pm at Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St., Bordentown NJ 08505. A Gathering of Family and friends will be held Friday evening starting at 6:00 pm until time of Service.
