Obituary for Karine Ester Weeks

Karine Ester Frazier, age 82, of Burlington NJ, passed early in the morning on 9 July 2022, she was born to the late Marion Frazier and Dr. Mozelle Johnson Frazier, in Cope South Carolina in 1939. She now joins her mother Mozelle, father Marion Sr, her son Allen Troy McLean, sister Earline Winborne and brother Marion Frazier Jr.

Karine lived a good life and was blessed with a loving family. She was married twice, her first husband was George Allen Mclean and they were married on 4 June 1963. They were blessed with two children - one son Todd Steven Mclean and a daughter Ina Latosha Ennis. She was widowed on 14 December 1971 and then married her second husband Herbert Weeks on the 7th of April 1977 and was again widowed on the 9th of July 1997. She had a brave soul, strong will, and fierce spirit she also had a loving, kind and warm nature. She will be deeply and greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Karine had many gifts and talents and was passionate about many things. She loved to make her own clothing with unique designs and styles and was a fashion connoisseur. One of her passions was gardening. She grew her own spices and herbs along with having a thriving vegetable garden that she tended to in her back yard. She had a gift and a talent for cooking delicious and tasty dishes from scratch and was, generous with sharing her dishes and talents with family and friends and anyone who would like a plate. She also had a fun-loving nature, that would make you laugh with a honest and direct recap of stories told and memories shared. She was motivational and honest, almost like a personal life coach who knew just what to say to build up your self-esteem and courage.

Karine’s love and passion for the arts was deep and profound. Which included buying rare and unusual antiques and pieces of art and paintings, she also loved to paint and draw. She saw the beauty in everything. She was also a self-made health and wellness guru as she was already using plants and herbs to heal the body.

Karine leaves to mourn her passing, brother Donnie Frazier; two children, Todd and Ina; thirteen grandchildren: Alex, Karina, Malik, Paisley, Jahmal, Dasanni, Imani, Kiarah, Demarques, Marcus, Dominic, Tristan, Gavin; nieces Linda, Monique, Trevonia, Tameka; Nephews Don, Shawn, Allan, Micheal, Winston and two sister in-law’s Mary, Ginger and daughter In-law Nydia and numerous other relatives.

A Celebration of Karine’s Life Service will be held Thursday July 14, 2022, 1:00 pm at Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St., Bordentown NJ 08505. Calling hours will be held Thursday morning from 11:30 am until time of Service. Cremation will follow at Ewing Cemetery.
