Obituary for Judith A. Welsh

Judith A. Welsh passed away peacefully on Saturday August 7, 2021, with her loving family by her side.
She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1963, Judy and Larry were married and moved to New Jersey. Soon after, they began building their dream home on Hedding Rd in Columbus. Judy worked side by side with Larry until it's completion in 1973.
Judy enjoyed her time working in the Columbus Elementary School lunchroom. Upon the urging of local Bordentown dentist, Dr. Sherman Gould, Judy attended X-ray school and became his dental assistant in 1982. The practice was later sold to Dr. Marc Weinberger in 1996 and Judy stayed on until her retirement in 2014. Judy valued her relationship with these individuals so much so that they became part of her extended family.
She was an avid gardener and enjoyed doing ceramics, but her greatest joy in life was being a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, and dear friend. She will be missed by many.
Daughter of the late Stephen and Eleanor Haskey, she is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years Lawrence (Larry) R. Welsh, her loving daughters and sons-in-law, Traci and (Tom) Minard, Lisa and (Steven) Yeretzian, her adoring grandchildren, Jessica, Rebekah (Philip), Emily, Hannah, Grace, her two honorary granddaughters, Hailey and Sandra, and many cousins and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday August 14, 2021 at 11:00 am at Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505. Calling hours will be held Friday afternoon from 4:00 ~ 8:00 pm and Saturday morning from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Columbus Cemetery.
