SEPTEMBER TWENTYFIRST TWO THOUSAND TWENTY,
With everything still going rather time demanding about what is for having follow through in the along legalities my mother has not been able to really see on this matter bordentown home for funerals informations and wondering if it works or volume alittle at best as how someway did I do. I thought that I had needed to put such as registry and alittle more onto things. On july twentyseventh , depth until oh here, fran wolverton-petty gave tribute words without vent to vent whenever and regard and materialize around such effort . * . I will always remember the good times with Joe. He loved to drive. My husband, Joe Jr., would always remark how his dad could back up any rig or truck with precision and exact accuracy and would recall how amazing it was to see his dad handle the Derby Fire Truck, backing it into the firehouse as if it were a VW Beetle. He had skills, for sure. I recall Sr. telling the story of when the old Bonaparte Mansion caught fire in Bordentown. Joe was fighting the fire with the Derby when he realized that many paintings and valuable artifacts were about to burn. I don't know exactly what he saved, but he rescued several items that otherwise would have been lost to history, carrying them outside and placing them on the lawn. Family trips to Myrtle Beach will always be remembered. Joe loved his seafood! As soon as we hit the shore, Sr. was planning our week's itinerary around where we were going to eat and when we were going to "Crabby Mikes". It was tradition and something both father and son looked forward to. Whether we were just sitting on the deck in Garden City watching the ocean, walking on the beach looking for shells, taking drives to Georgetown, or going shopping at the outlets...it was a special time. Thank you, Joe, for always calling your son almost every day, just to see how he was doing, as he battled lung cancer. For being the strong and hard-working man that you were and for passing those traits onto your son. Also, for thinking of me, too, at times. I will always treasure the times we lad lunch together, went grocery shopping and the conversations and thoughts we shared when we did. Rest in peace, Joe...you have earned it. I know you are now with your sons and that you and Joe Jr. will be off to watch the Phillies in heaven. With Many Fond Memories, Fran (Widow of Joe Wolverton, Jr.)
