Obituary for John G. Germano

"John Germano, age 62, passed away on February 24, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brooklyn, New York, John later worked in Manhattan for the New York Stock Exchange and St. Mary Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He was devoted to his work and was known for solving any computer problem he encountered.

Beyond his outstanding work accomplishments, John was a man who put his family first, always taking the opportunity to bring them on vacations and teach them a variety of lessons. John was a history whiz, driving expert, and coin and movie collector, and loved imparting his wisdom of these topics on those around him. John was known for his unmatchable sense of humor, impeccable memory, and the ability to have an answer for every question; his mind was an encyclopedia of knowledge. A true lover of anything old-fashioned, he could recite any old song, movie, or TV show.

Above all, John was a hockey player and staunch New York Rangers fan. He faithfully watched all Rangers games and cheered them on throughout all seasons. During his free time, John enjoyed playing hockey for his team – the Spiders at the Ice Land rink in Hamilton.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, and his two daughters, Michele and Melissa."

Due to the COVID restrictions a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
