Obituary for Jean Brady

Dateline Bordentown

Jean Brady, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving daughters. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Ridgefield Park before moving back to Bordentown 19 years ago.

Jean was employed as an Office Manager for Community Chevrolet located in Ridgefield Park, retiring in 1998 after 40 years of dedicated service. She was a proud parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi and enjoyed volunteering to help run the church’s carnival and feasts. But her greatest joy in life was her family and friends. She was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, John M. Brady, her brothers, George and Richard Coughlin, her brother-in-law, Ezio Dallago. She is survived by her loving daughters and sons-in-law, Maryann and Kevin Meadus, Janet and Pete Darata, her grandchildren, John B. Meadus, Kelly and Rachel Darata, her sister, Anna Dallago and her brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Arleen Coughlin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 21,2022 10:00 am at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ 08505. Calling hours will be held Wednesday evening from 7:00 ~ 9:00 pm and Thursday morning 8:30 - 9:30 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.
