Obituary for Irene A. Talarowski

Camden - Irene A Talarowski of Camden passed away peacefully on Thursday July 7, 2022 with her loving son by her side. Wife of the late Mitchell.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia Kwoka. She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law
John M and Kathleen Talarowski, her sister-in-law, Patricia “Pat” A. Kwoka, and many nieces, nephews’, cousins and friends

She was predeceased by her five brothers: Walter, Frank, Stanley, Edmund and John A, and two sisters: Helen and Mary.

Irene was born and raised in Camden NJ and resided there most all of her life. Married to her loving husband Mitchell in 1949. A graduate of Camden Catholic School in 1945. While in high school she worked as a switch board operator at the Bell Telephone Company. After graduation she was employed as a Secretary for Camden Iron Works, Harleigh Cemetery and eventually Cooper Hospital where she retired from their Engineering department in 1996 after many years of dedicated service.

Irene was a proud parishioner of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Camden, NJ. She was a member of the West Jersey Hospital Women's Auxiliary for a number of years. Was active in the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church parish council. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed cooking. But her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday July 19, 2022, 10:15 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 East State Street Extension, Hamilton, NJ 08619 where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am.
Interment will be private at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Blackwood, NJ.
