Obituary for Helen G Stansky (Kopec)

HELEN G. STANSKY (nee KOPEC)
Helen G. Stansky, 94, of Chesterfield, NJ passed away at home into God’s Loving Hands on Friday, April 9, 2021.

Born in Trenton, Helen also resided in Ewing Township and was a long-time resident of Chesterfield.
Helen worked at the Lenox China Company and retired from the State of NJ, Department of Labor and Workforce Development after many years of service.

She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish and St. Mary’s Altar Rosary Society. Helen was also a member of the Chesterfield Keenagers and a former member of the Polish Falconettes Nest 145.

Helen is predeceased by her life-long friend and loving husband of 48 years, Henry E. Stansky. She is also predeceased by her parents Michael and Sophie Rosol Kopec; her siblings and their spouses, Jacob (Mary Jane) Kopec, Mildred (Joseph) Zarish, Mary (Andrew) Jusko, Joseph (Leona) Kopec, Michael Louis Kopec, Edward (Dorothy) Kopec, Frank (Christine) Kopec; her sisters-in-law, Jean (John) Bulovcsak, Lillian (Steve) Mislan, Stella (Stephen) Harzenski, Helen (Richard) Farley and Gladys Stankiewicz.

Helen is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Janet and Michael Downey, and Eileen Stansky; her sister-in-law Pauline Fox; and many nieces and nephews.

Helen loved opera. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, music and the theatre. She was an avid sewer.

Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, 100 people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home. Masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced when possible. The Mass will be Live Streamed on the church's website http://mmotcp.org/mass-times

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday April 19, 2021 11:00 am at Mary Mother of the Church Parish 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Calling hours will be held Monday morning from 9:30 ~ 10:30 Am at the Funeral Home. Rosary prayer service will begin at 9:45 am. Interment will follow at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
