Obituary for Gerald W McFadden
Gerald W. McFadden, 91, of Hamilton, NJ passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Care One of Hamilton.
Born May 16, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois, he was an Army veteran of the Korean War attaining the rank of Sergeant.
He was a volunteer fireman for the Momence Fire Protection District, Momence, Ill, retiring as Asst. Chief after 20 years of dedicated service.
He was a 50-year member of the Grand Lodge of Free Masons of the State of Illinois.
Survivors include his wife of almost 70 years, Loretta M. McFadden of Hamilton, NJ.
Children Christopher McFadden of East Windsor, NJ. Melissa McFadden of Ocala FL. Shawn (Romy) McFadden of Manville, NJ. Two grandchildren, Antonio and Wayne McFadden of Manville, NJ. One sister, Sue Anne Voechting of Bradley, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James David and Helen McFadden, and two Brothers.
Besides being with his grandchildren, he enjoyed doing different projects and woodworking.

At the request of the family services will be private.
