Obituary of George G. Czuhai

George G. Czuhai of Bordentown City, NJ died at home on February 18, 2021. He was 90 years old.

George was born in Grand Rapids, MI on October 11, 1930. He served four years in US Air Force during the Korean War, separating honorably in 1953 from Ft. Dix as a S/Sgt.

George was a member of the American Legion of Bordentown and a member of the Elks Lodge #2085. He was also an exempt, life member of the Hope Hose Humane.
Fire Company #1 of Bordentown. He played softball and basketball in the Bordentown City Leagues. He retired from the DOC as a Sr. Corrections Officer.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Joan Herron Czuhai, who also just passed on January 21, 2021; and five siblings, Lucy, Ruth, Daniel, Eugene, Mearl. George and Joan are survived by their two sons, Michael of Bordentown and James of Boston Mass. George is also survived by his daughter-in-law Pat Czuhai of Michigan; three grandchildren, Christina of TN and her husband David Beach, Rebecca Grooters of MI, and Michael of MI; two great-grandsons Zachary Czuhai and Hayden Beach; three great granddaughters Hailey Beach, Alivia Czuhai, and Isabella Czuhai; two brothers David and Monte of MI; three sisters Esther, Vera, and Anita of MI, two sisters-in-law Ann Purcell of TX, and Nanci Czuhai of MI, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are under the direction of Robert L. Pecht. Committal Service for both George and Joan will be held Thursday, March 25th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
