Obituary for Fred Walsh Jr.

Fred Walsh Jr., passed away peacefully on Sunday September 29, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Born in West Chester PA., Fred grew up in Pennsylvania before moving to New Jersey in the late 90’s.

Fred served in the United States Army Reserved and was ordered to active duty in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was employed as a butcher for Shop Rite and Foley’s.

He enjoyed camping, fishing and had a love for pickles. He was a member of the VVA Chapter 899 Auxiliary. Fred will be remembered for his “no filter personality” but more importantly his love and compassion for his family and friends.

He is predeceased by his “daughter-in-law”, Mychaela Parmer and his best friend, Charlie Madden. He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly A. Walsh, his children, Chelsea and Justin Walsh, his stepchildren, Olivia Simmons, Abigail Taylor, Gavin Huling, his grand children, Evan and Hayden Walsh, Scarlett Huling, his beloved Service dog Tank, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Fred’s will be held on Friday October 4th, 2019 10:00 am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505 (609)-298-0128. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 ~ 8:00 pm and again Thursday morning 9:00 am till time of service. Burial will follow at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown NJ.
