Obituary for Evan W Morris

Evan “Captain Caveman” Morris, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Overlook Hospital in Summit. He grew up and resided in South Plainfield all his life.

He was an avid bowler, golfer, pool and darts player. Evan was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his friends who he considered his family. A selfless person, Evan will be remembered for his kind heart and wellness to help anyone at anytime.

Evan was predeceased but his loving mother, Joan Morris and father Evan Morris, as well as his beloved Aunt Janet Antolick, Aunt Jean Dalickas, Uncle Chad Albright, Uncle George Albright, and Cousin Anthony "Tinker" Dalickas.  He is survived by his life partner Lori Blend and her children, Amanda Ray, Jesse Ray, Jacob Blend and Kady Blend, his loving Aunt Linda Bergacs, and her husband Richard, Uncle William Albight and his wife Helene, cousins, Rick Bergacs and his wife Katie, Chad Bergacs and his wife Britta, Leif Albright, Barbara Chervanek, Patricia Krug and her husband Tom, Charles Pisano and his wife Corrine and many loving friends.


A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 4:00 ~ 9:00 pm in the South Plainfield Funeral Home 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

 Due to COV-19 restrictions we ask that masks must be worn during service hours.
