Obituary for Betty Ann Kleber-DuMont

Betty Ann Kleber, 76 passed away peacefully on Monday March 21, 2022 at her home with her loving husband by her side.

Born in Osceola Arkansas, she was a long-time resident of the Trenton-Hamilton community. Upon Graduating from Trenton Cathedral High School, Betty Ann began her career in the clerical department for the NJ Department of Civil Service Commission and then later in her career she transferred to the Department of Environmental Protection. She retired in 2003 with 40 years of dedicated service.


Betty Ann was a proud parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a Life Member of the Vietnam AVVA NJ Chapter 899 and An Associate member of Burlington County F.O.P. Lodge # 2. Betty Ann’s greatest joy in life was spending time volunteering for the VVA Chapter 899; where she would organize the annual Christmas party, cooking in the kitchen during chapter meeting or planning chapter events.

Daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Kleber, she is predeceased by her loving Aunt and uncle Mary and Andy Mankovich, her brother, Charles I. Kleber Jr., she is survived by her beloved husband, Brian F. DuMont, her cousins, Mary Ann Burke, Rita Mich, Larry Morris, brother-in-law, Michael and (Beryl) DuMont, her special friends, Barbara and (Art) Giori, and many other cousins.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday April 2, 2022, 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church 343 South Broad St. Trenton NJ 08608. Please arrive at church for 9:30am Saturday morning. Calling hours will be held Friday evening from 6:00 ~ 8:00 pm with services at 7:30 pm at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505. Burial will be private.
