Obituary for Eddie Baus

On Friday September 3rd, 2021, Edward Otto Baus, loving son, father, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend to many, was received by the Lord at the young age of 50 after a harsh battle with the coronavirus.

Eddie was born October 1st, 1970 in Trenton, N.J. From an early age he loved music, performing and making people laugh. He called many places home, from the countryside of New Jersey to the Jersey Shore along with Virginia Beach, before settling in Jacksonville, Florida for over the last 2 decades. Over the years Eddie sang in many bands, enjoyed bowling, playing pool and was an avid card player. He also ran a music shop, was a union member working as a stagehand, then a loan officer for Bank of America along with 2 other banks, before moving on to ADT. Earlier this year Eddie put his heart and soul into starting his own business, the pressure washing company Knock ‘Em Stiff.

Eddie was a natural comedian and has left us with many fond memories to cherish along with his unique laugh, his smile and all the love and care he gave us.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Otto Edward Baus. He is survived by his mother, Josephine Baus, his son Phillip Lane, his sister Joanna Palevich, brother-in-law Eddie, nephew Nathan, nieces Aleah and Alexis, many cousins, and his Aunt Gloria.
