Obituary for Denise Koester
Denise Marie Koester, 59 of Bordentown City, NJ., passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 30, 2021 surrounded by friends and family.
She was born November 1, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was the oldest daughter of Ruth Ann Hensley and the late John P. O’Hare, both of Bordentown, NJ. And was granddaughter of the late Ruth and Floyd Borland of Bordentown, NJ.
She attended Bordentown Regional High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. She worked in many fields of construction and was a hard worker until she became a stay home mom to her daughter. She loved her children, going to the beach, 80’s music, jewelry, talk shows, thrift store shopping, sunflowers, her two cats and loved just being around people that made her smile.
Denise is survived by her two loving children and two grandchildren. Her son Brandon Koester and his wife Tara and their children Dexton and Carter all of Bordentown Twp., NJ. And a daughter Kaylee Commisso of Ewing, NJ. Her siblings and their families, Sister Wendy Hannah and husband Kirk of Tunkhannock, PA. their children Brett and wife Brittany Hannah of Ciero, NY. and Brian Hannah of Tunkhannock, PA., A Brother John O’Hare and his wife Andrea and their children, John, Chase, Jacob, and Ethan all of Roebling, NJ. And a sister Patty Pierson and her husband Ron of Hamilton, NJ. and their children Victoria, Elizabeth, Zachary and Ronnie.
The family wishes to thank their Aunt, Helen Dixon for her tireless unselfish efforts on Denise’s behalf through the years to make sure that she was well cared for and to her long-time best friend who she lived with until she passed, Donald.
