Obituary for Danuta A Nowakowska

Danuta Morawska-Nowakowska, born in Hajnowka, Poland on July 20, 1938 passed away peacefully on March 16, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents Jan and Stefania Morawski, her sister Janina Chachlica, and her nephew Waldemar Chachlica.

She is survived by her sister Jadwiga Zydron, her niece Lidia Piskorska and her nephew Janusz Zydron both in Poland. She is also survived by her god-daughter, Ewa Wozniak and her granddaughter, Janina Krawczyk.

Danuta graduated medical school in Szczecin, Poland. She was a practicing physician until she came to America in 1977. In America, she worked for the Susan G. Komen Foundation as a consultant for many years. She guided countless European women through their breast cancer treatment.

Her motto in life was "Treat others how you would like to be treated".

She will be dearly missed by many cousins and friends. Most especially by her god-daughter, grand daughter, and her beloved cat, Bella.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday March 26, 2022 11:00 am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505. Calling hours will be held Saturday morning from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
