Obituary for Carol Keyes

Carol A Keyes of Bordentown, NJ passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the age of 77. She was the daughter of the late Milton & Helen (Shull) Keyes. She was predeceased by brother Larry, sister Nancy Lou. Carol is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Claire and Donald Landes, five nieces, and many great nieces and nephews.


Carol loved her family and friends deeply and was loved by all in return. Her life touched the lives of many. She will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and zest for life.


Carol lived a full and eventful life. From an early age she was involved in all types of sports, participating in bowling, softball, tennis, biking, and hiking. She was an avid Phillies Fan, enjoyed the Philly Pops, the theater, traveling, and even helped crew with several hot air balloons crews.


Carol was a long-time resident of Bordentown, NJ, volunteering with Old City Hall and co-ordinating a walking group twice per week.


After graduating from Central Bucks High School in 1963, Carol graduated from Thiel College and D. T. Watson School of Physiatrics with a BA in Biology and Certificate in Physical Therapy and later receiving a MA in Gerontology from the College of NJ.


Carol retired from Princeton Hospital after 40 plus years, working as a Physical Therapist and serving in a supervisory and managerial position for most of her career at the hospital. She then worked for several years in a per diem capacity.


A Celebration of Life will be held August 19, 2022, 6 - 8 pm, Williamsburg Village Club House, Georgetown Rd., and Williamsburg Dr., Bordentown, NJ 08505. Calling hour at 6 pm with sharing time and Celebration of Life at 6:30pm.
